Realm’s Call

Welcome, traveler! You’ve wandered into Realm’s Call, a place where myth and history intertwine, where science and nature whisper secrets, and where curiosity is never quite satisfied.

I’ve always had an insatiable hunger for knowledge—like a dragon hoarding treasure, but instead of gold, my hoard is filled with books, half-finished projects, and an ever-growing list of hobbies. From brewing herbal concoctions to studying old battle tactics, from crafting to homesteading, my interests refuse to be neatly boxed in.

Fantasy is the fire that fuels it all. Whether drawn from ancient myths, long-lost legends, or the wonders of the natural world, I find magic in both the real and the imagined. This blog is my way of sharing that magic—through stories, insights, and the occasional rambling deep dive into whatever has caught my fascination this week.

So, if you’re someone who loves myth and history, the call of the wild, or just learning everything about everything, you’re in good company. Grab a cup of something warm, stay a while, and let’s explore together.

About the Author

I suppose you could call me a collector—of knowledge, of hobbies, of dreams that range from wandering the world to putting down deep roots on a homestead. I’ve never been one to follow just one path when I can explore them all.

I’m a veteran, a parent, and an eternal student of the world—and beyond. My Earth Science degree focused on geochemistry and astrobiology, so my curiosity stretches from the depths of the soil to the vastness of the cosmos. I also hold a degree in Agricultural Science, grounding my love for nature in the practical and the tangible.

I run two businesses (because why settle for one challenge when you can have two?), and I call Minnesota home—for now. While I dream of traveling to ancient ruins and wild landscapes, I also long for a self-sufficient homestead, a place where I can put my hands in the dirt, breathe in the changing seasons, and build something lasting.

In the meantime, you’ll find me here, chasing curiosity wherever it leads—through history, mythology, nature, the stars, and the endless projects I can’t resist starting.
